Moving, getting work and parties ;)

Sorry all for being such strangers. We haven't gotten the internet to work in our house yet so i guess thats why. Oh and the fact that we worked our asses of this week at a big sale out in the middle of nowhere. hehe. We sold everything! EVERYTHING!!! at that place. And we bought some very cheap stuff that we needed for the apartment. We met some new and fun people that we traded numbers with.

And we were at a work interview this week also. The whole thing was quite funny really cause it was the first job that I actually put some effort in to writing the CV and cover letter. The manager called me the day after I mailed him and wanted me to come for an interview :D And since Michaela needed a job also I asked him if she could get an interview to. And she could.
I guess the interview went good cause we got jobs as waiters at this classy cocktail bar in the middle of Kings Cross!
Yesterday we were there for some training. Learning how to serve champagne in the proper way and tasting loads of drinks so that we know what they taste like so that we can suggest drinks for the people coming there.
I just still can't get the fact that it is such a classy place! We are supposed to wear black clothes and shoes with at least a small heal on them. We're going to look sooooooo good ;D
The big opening is on Wednesday and there is going to be cameras, celebrities and everything! God we are so excited and the boss is a really cool guy /man! First time ever I get the feeling I will like it there a lot! Haven't been this happy in a long long while :D

We've been out partying too, yesterday. With one of our flatmates Sean. His friends were a bit ermmmm annoying but I can take care of myself and that's a good thing ;D

Now we are off to go to get some food for dinner.

God i miss you all so much, you should move here ;D

Sista inlagget fran Clares!

Hoho, har har ni sista inlagget fran stadsdelen Glebe. For i dag sa flyttar vi till Bondi junction. Och allt kanns fantastiskt bra, hela dagen ska vi bara fixa och dona dar, kopa lite handdukar och sant man behover men inte packade med sig for att det tog for mycket plats. Kommer upp bilder pa huset och rummet i veckan om min dator vill funka dar vill saga.

Veckan som varit har varit full med aventyr. Renoveringen i onsdags var helskon och kul och verkligen pa sin plats! I gar var vi ut pa en lokal pub i Glebe och hade tjejkvall, valdigt skoj! Men vet inte om jag vagar lagga upp bilder ;) Skoja!

Nasta vecka ska vi jobba rumporna av oss, tror jag. Hur manga timmar som helst i alla fall och massor med pengar pa det! Kommer nog ett inlagg fran Jennifer i veckan, sa ni vet vad det ar for slags jobb. For det vet inte vi nu heller.

En sista lunch hos underbara Clare och Liz som latit oss bo hos dem hela veckan.

ohhhhh yeah!

We got it! We got an apartment!!! yay! :D And the best thing about it is that it is really really nice. And it seems like we're going to live with two mature guys. One of the guys living there came home during the open house and he was wearing a suit so. hahaha.
The place is really close to the train station, so that will make things easier in the hunt for jobs :) We do have jobs for next week as Michaela said but a permanent job to go to after that wouldn't be all that bad. hehehehe.
All of this day has been spent in front of the computer searching every job site possible, applying to everything that looks interesting and even to the ones that looks like crap ;D
I guess we're going to put some photos up of the room as soon as we move in on Sunday.

Makeover och Bussmisstag

Jag tror inte att det ar nagon som har pastatt att vi ar 2 av de intelligentaste av varelserna pa denna jord. Med tanke pa att vi i forrgar efter att ha kollat in lagenheter hela dagen(kandes det som) skulle hem till Clare och Glebe(som stallet heter) tog fel buss och hamnade pa en slutstation i nanstanns. Sa gar det nar man tar bussen pa fel sida av vagen..

Vi letar lagenheter for fullt och ska kolla pa en ikvall efter att vi har klippt oss. Bade Jennifer och jag ar i stort behov av renovering. Det ar nog det lyxigaste vi har rad med for tillfallet.

Vadret har kanns lite som en besvikelse just nu. Igar gick vi i osregn till taget hem kl 22 pa kvallen. Inte alls som vi forestallt oss. Det var ju darfor vi lamnade Sverige ;) Hoppas snart att vadergudarna tar hand om oss som vi vill, lar val bli bra vader nasta vecka da bade jag och Jen ska fa jobba pa ett varuhus utforsaljning. Man-Son och massor med pengar for det. Pa riktigt nastan 2 veckors lon. Sa det ar vi valdigt tacksamma for! ;)

Appartement hunt!

We're at Clare's now and the main time of our day is spent by the computer to search for a place to stay and work. Hopefully we will get a room at two Canadian guys and one English bloke at Bondi. guess we'll have to work on our Swedish accent. lol ;D they are 18-22 so I guess they will be a bit ermmmmmm... you know. hahahaha. after we meet them we are meeting another guy that has a room in a share accommodation. and we're also going to hand out a lot of resumes. pew...
hopefully we will have our own place to stay in a week and also a working place. Money is always an issue ;D

Halloj alla trogna lasare!

Hur har ni det hemma i mysiga hostiga Sverige?
Har har vi det bara bra, har varit pa marknad i dag, Jennifer, Clare och jag och haft en riktig heldag i Glebe. Det ar har vi bor nu. Lamnade trygga fororten igar och bor just nu med Clare, hennes roomie, och tva tjejer till. Sa ganska mycket brudar om man sager sa! Men det ar val bara for en vecka eller sa. Sa fort vi hittar nat bra stalle att bo pa, sa drar vi;)

Soker jobb for fullt och hoppas att vi far provjobba nanstanns nasta vecka.

RSA completed

Well the RSA is done now and we had a great teacher! 

And you guys can't believe the weather.... It is raining like crazy here. and the thunder is awesome! 

Still suffering from some jet-lag also.. don't know why but I guess it will go away eventually. 

Tomorrow we are going to bondi to look for accommodation and work ;) hopefully we'll get a trial as soon as possible :D

Went down to the river beach not too far away from sandra's house today after the RSA. And to our surprise it was almost gone :O!!! ebb och flod... forgot all about it ;D

Taronga ZOO

Idag mina vanner, sa har vi varit pa zoo! Och inte vilket som helst, ett helt underbart zoo. Med alla tankbara djur. Vi tog oss hela vagen till hamnen sjalva och motte upp Clare och Jeff och tog farjan over till andra sidan. Har sett sa manga djur forstar ni, koala, kangru, tasmansk djavul, pafagel, kattbjorn, sal, pingviner, elefanter, giraffer, och allt mojligt harligt grejsimojs! :) 

I morgon bar det av mot en kurs, RSA, som typ handlar om att vi ska lara oss hur och vad man far och inte far gora gallande alkohol. Det ska bli spannande, 6 timmar, lyssna pa nagot vi kanske inte alls forstar! Vi far se hur det gar, ni far veta i morgon!

Confused but chilling ;D

Well what to say about today.. hmmm.. we went to Bondi - Beach to get my "new" phone since my other one died on me. it costed me 38 aus $ hahaha and I got 10$ to call for out of that sum. (med andra ord sa betalade jag bara 150 svenska kronor) 

After that me, Michaela, Clare and Jeff went to photocopy our CV to check if people were interested in hiring two swedes ;D They all told us that we need to go the RSA course (responsible serving of alcohol) done and then come back. and we sure will! like this friday or something ;) yaaaaaayyyy! 

So ... after working hard for a couple of hours we decided that we had deserved a nice rest of the day at Bondi beach . hehehehehe. It was lovely trying to stand in the water while the waves hit you and it was soooo nice in the water! Clare acted like a big chicken about it but we managed to get her in eventually ;) we had a nice fruit lunch and then me and Michaela left Jeff and Clare on the beach to go back to the big shopping mall at bondi junction. Michaelas bag broke so we needed to find another one. the only thing we found though was a really nice clothing shop . guess the bag hunt will continue tomorrow .

Tomorrow we will be going to the zoo at darling harbor! wiiiieeeee! I hope I get to hold something fluffy :D

It's around 9 in the evening here so i think I am going to bed soon since the jet lag hasn't worn off yet ;D

Sydney tour 2

Passar pa att skriva nu nar Jennifer gor sig lite fin i duschen. Behover verkligen en dusch jag med, for den har dagen har varit ganska jobbig. Pa ett bra satt, sjalvklart! Vi har gatt sa mycket sa jag knappt sjalv forstar det(bilder kommer senare). Vi har haft personlig guide aven idag i form av Clare. hon fick agera honsmamma till tre vilsna sjalar, jag, Jennifer och Jeff. Hon tog oss over Harbour Bridge, till Botaniska tradgarden och runt och overallt! Helt slut efter en fullspackad dag!

Ikvall ska vi skriva klart vara cv(resume) med hjalp av auntie Sandra. Har lite finslip kvar bara. Sen i morgon bar det av mot Bondi beach(det ar stranden som ar bakom bilden pa mig och Jennifer). Dar ska vi dela ut cv och bada och Jennifer ska kopa en ny telefon eftersom hennes ar crazy. Lar bli en underbar dag i morgon ocksa. 

Nu kanns det som jag bara babblar, och helt i onodan. Vi vill ju bara att ni ska se att vi lever och har det bra. For det har vi verkligen. Det ar helt otroligt har och vi ar jattesugna pa att skaffa jobb och eget stalle att bo pa! :)

The first day in Oz!

Well we are finally there, or here O.o hmmm.. well we have arrived and that is the most important thing ;) 

The trip was both hectic and boring from time to time, hahaha. Hectic as hell in frankfurt and boring on the last flight to Sydney from Abu Dhabi. We don't even know how long that flight was, we just ate and slept when we felt like it and when being served. 

Sandra and her family is really amazing! So nice and sweet. the first thing she did was to get us at the airport and then take us on sightseeing so that we wouldn't fall asleep :) we saw it all in like an hour or so. hehehe. 

After that we went to se Clare at her flat and had some tea. we brought her and her friend Jeff with us to auntie Sandra for a Barbeque lunch :D An awesome lunch!

Sandra made us some maps so that we wouldn't get lost during our promenades around her neighborhood. So we've now seen the small beach at the river, the village next to her and we've also slept like 20 hours :D guess we were tired. *giggle*

And to my family: We'll try to type as much as we can but right now we are "guests" here and it would be strange to sit in front of the computer all the time ;) it will change as soon as we get our own place. promise! and i do miss all of you a lot! alskar er alla! :)
